Show Notes on Dream a Little Deeper: Robin Hood
Walt Disney Productions continues releasing xerox-animate films into the 70s with Robin Hood. Robin Hood had many iterations before the company decided to make an adaptation where all of the characters were anthropomorphic animals and used some ideas from an earlier Reynard the Fox idea. But, after Roy Disney’s death in 1971, the company began to lose creative vision and enter some financial difficulties. When the film was released, it was considered one of the company’s weakest films, but gained more popularity as time went on.
