Show Notes on Dream a Little Deeper: The Jungle Book
The Jungle Book marks the last Disney Animation Studios film that Walt Disney directly had a hand in creating. After the lackluster release of The Sword in the Stone, he was determined to be more involved in the production process. However, he butt heads with the story lead, Bill Peet, causing Peet to leave the company before the film wrapped. Walt passed away before the film wrapped production, causing its release to be pushed back. However, it was met with praise by critics and audiences alike.
