Trailer Watch: Colossal
Nacho Vigalondo has made quite a name for himself as a director in the past decade, since first bursting onto the scene with Timecrimes in 2007.
His latest film, Colossal, represents his biggest (literally) and most mainstream film to date, starring Anne Hathaway as a woman who realizes she is in control of a massive kaiju-like entity that is causing destruction on the other side of the world in Japan.
The film, co-starring Jason Sudeikis, Dan Stevens, and Tim Blake Nelson, was a hit at TIFF and Fantastic Fest this past fall, and will be the first feature released from NEON - the new distribution company founded by Tim League and RADiUS's Tom Quinn.
Colossal will screen at the Sundance Film Festival this week, and make its theatrical debut on April 7th, 2017.
