Trailer Watch: Star Wars: The Last Jedi

After a long wait, the first teaser for arguably the year's most anticipated film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, has just premiered at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida.

Right from the start, we're taken back to the island where Rey (Daisy Ridley) had left off at the end of The Force Awakens, seeing Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) for the first time. We also get various glimpses of Finn (John Boyega) still in recovery, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and BB-8, and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), not to mention a cavalcade of various space battles and action scenes. The trailer ends with Luke uttering the line "It's time for the Jedi to end", foreshadowing significant events within the story - could he be referring to himself, or possibly Rey?

We don't know.

And we won't know for another 8 months when The Last Jedi opens on December 15th, 2017.
