Trailer Watch: The Fate of the Furious
In what's expected to be one of 2017's biggest and most popular films, the first trailer for the next epic chapter in the Fast and the Furious series, cleverly titled The Fate of the Furious has just debuted. Coming from director F. Gary Gray replacing previous filmmakers in the series like Justin Lin and James Wan, it has some big shoes to fill after the immense popularity of Furious 7, which set box office records domestically and worldwide.
Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game-and the rest of the crew has been exonerated-the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom into the world of crime he can't seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before. The Fate of the Furious stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Lucas Black, Scott Eastwood, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, Charlize Theron, and Helen Mirren, and opens on April 14th, 2017.
