Monsters Never Die: Episode 7 - Creature from the Black Lagoon
It’s all come to this, your hosts Matt (@TheRealMattC) and Jacob (@Jacob_deNobel) take a trip to the Black Lagoon for the final episode of the first season of Monsters Never Die. That’s right, this week we jump ahead to the 1950s when atomic horror and sci-fi was king and everyone fell in love with the Gill-Man! They tackle the original 1954 The Creature from the Black Lagoon, as well as its direct sequels Revenge of the Creature and The Creature Walks Among Us before diving into a few other Lagoon Lite adventures. We cover it “all,” from Humanoids of the Deep, to Demon of Paradise, and even Wes Craven’s Swamp Thing! The hosts also highlight a personal favorite of theirs, Guillermo del Toro’s Best Picture winning The Shape of Water and drown themselves in tears over just how beautiful it is. So until Monsters Never Die returns, stay scared and remember Spooky Season Never Ends!
The Friday the 13th series ends with 12 movies. 12 movies!? Come on…
We come to this place for podcasts about ghosts.
